Beecher-Dunbar-Pembine HS recruits the best students | News, Sports, Jobs

PEMBINE, Wisconsin – Beecher-Dunbar-Pembine High School has announced the top two seniors in the class of 2021.

They are:

– Valedictorian Kalen Berger is the daughter of Ryan and Heather Berger from Dunbar, Wisconsin. Berger was involved in many extracurricular activities throughout high school. She is president of the student council, president of the Healthy Youth Coalition and vice-president of the class. In addition, Berger has played travel softball with the Wisconsin Heat fastpitch organization for the past three years. She is also involved in the National Honor Society, Drama Club, forensics, Hi-Q, cross country, and softball. She is also a member of the Marinette County Youth Court panel. Throughout his high school career, Berger maintained a high honor roll status each term and won numerous athletic awards. After graduation, she plans to pursue a degree in political science at Ripon College with a view to attending law school.

– Salvationatorian Kaitlin Hirte is the daughter of Clinton Hirte of Beecher, Wisconsin, and Theresa Hirte of Niagara, Wisconsin. Hirte has been involved in the high school orchestra, theater, and yearbook. In high school, she won honors such as a French Award and a Drama Club MVP Award. She also achieved a high honor roll for each quarter. Hirte was accepted into St. Norbert’s College in De Pere, Wisconsin. She plans to take a major while attending university in the fall.

Twelve seniors were due to receive their diplomas during graduation ceremonies on Friday at the gymnasium of Pembine High School.
