A number of students from Minot State University recently volunteered to help Burlington and Minot veterans clean up the fall yard during the first week of November.

On November 6, students cleaned up the yards of Jane Abel, a former US Army WAC reservist, and US Air Force retiree Paul Engeldinger, both of Burlington. MSU students Johanna Eben, MacKenzy Houston, Maelyn Sanders, Elizabeth Castro, Patrick Johnson, Ron Heredia, MaKena Welby, Sawyer Goodwin, Ivan Vidonia and Braydan Winzenburg participated in the project to help eight veterans with their yards.

MacKenzy Houston and Elizabeth Castro made arrangements for the yard cleanup project. Several students also helped veterans clean up their yards last fall.
