A press release issued for the news states:
“Gzim Selmani and Sunny Dhinsa, formerly known as WWE Writers of Pain, are proud to announce the launch of an all-new pro wrestling promotion.

Wrestling Entertainment Series (WES) will debut on June 4th live from Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham, England and will be available live worldwide on FITE.tv

Some of the biggest names in pro wrestling will all be announced very soon for this festive launch event. WES has already set up an action-packed schedule for the remainder of 2022 with several dates yet to be revealed across Europe and the Middle East.

WES will also see the return to the ring of Selmani & Dhinsa with legendary manager Paul Ellering by their side. The duo are poised to re-establish themselves as one of the most dominant forces in the tag team wrestling division”

The Pain Writers were released from WWE as part of the company’s massive budget cuts and have not been seen in a ring since. Decidedly, the two have bided their time and formed this new group which has great ambitions.
